Amy (Babcock) Fowlkes, MS, MPT, Clinic Director

Amy Fowlkes Amy received her Masters in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in nutrition at Iowa State University and her Masters in Physical therapy at St. Ambrose University. In addition she has completed three long term courses in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (The Australian Approach, Evaluation and Treatment of the Spine). Currently she is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and the Orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association. Amy's professional interests include: Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Spine Rehabilitation, Biomechanics, and Bike Fit.

Amy competed at the national level as a category 1 competitive road cyclist. She now spends her free time with her son, riding or racing locally, or practicing yoga. She has 8 years of experience of competing in triathlons and during her college years she was a competitive collegiate track and cross country runner.

Jeremy Chan, DPT, ATC

 Jeremy Chan Jeremy graduated from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in Psychobiology and completed UCLA's Athletic Training Internship Program. After graduating, he stayed one year to work with the UCLA baseball team, culminating in a trip to the NCAA College World Series in 1997. He attended the University of Southern California and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. Jeremy's professional interests include the use of manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, sports specific training/rehabilitation, and pediatrics. Currently he is a member of the Orthopedic, Sports, and Pediatric sections of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Outside of work, he works with a high school youth group and enjoys participating in baseball and basketball.

Brenda Lee

Helen LiuBrenda graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, Utah in Physical Education with an emphasis on Pre-Physical Therapy; she received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of California, San Francisco. Her professional interests include an exercise based approach to therapy, manual therapy, and general orthopedics. She also has basic German language skills.

Outside of work she is involved in various church activities and participates in sports, especially basketball.

 

Tegan E. Johnson, DPT

Helen LiuTegan is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo where she received her Doctorate in physical therapy. For five years prior to becoming a therapist Tegan was a certified personal trainer and aquatics instructor helping people reach their fitness goals. She has physical therapy experience treating orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and vestibular disorders. She also has knowledge of Pilates-based rehabilitation and likes to incorporate it into her orthopedic treatment techniques.

On her own time, Tegan enjoys living an active lifestyle with her two great kids and loving husband, and volunteering her time to educate children like her own about their lifestyle decisions and its effect on their health.
